Uniform

 At Woodland Primary Academy, our uniform helps to promote a sense of belonging, identity and pride in our school community. We ask all pupils to wear the school uniform listed below.

School Uniform

Required Uniform

• Bottle green sweatshirt or cardigan with Woodland Primary Academy logo
• Navy blue polo shirt (with or without school logo)
• Grey school trousers or tailored shorts
• Grey skirt or grey pinafore dress
• Grey, navy blue or white socks or tights
• Black school shoes (trainers are not permitted)

Optional Items

• Blue/green tartan skirt
• Green gingham summer dress
• Year 6 pupils may choose to wear:

                 o White formal cotton shirt

                 o Woodland Primary Academy tie

Please note: Jeans, trainers and high-heeled shoes are not permitted.

PE Kit

Pupils should wear:

• Bottle green Woodland Primary Academy PE t-shirt
• Plain navy blue shorts or joggers (no logos)
• Plain black pumps or trainers (no logos)

Optional:

• Bottle green hoodie with school logo
• School sweatshirt or cardigan may also be worn during colder weather

PE kit is worn to school on PE days.

Second-Hand Uniform

The school is pleased to offer a selection of second-hand uniform, available through the school office. Families can enquire at any time regarding available items.

As we are at the beginning of the 2025-2026 academic year and have recently introduced our new Woodland Primary Academy uniform, stock of second-hand items is currently limited. We expect availability to increase as donations are received throughout the year.

Uniform Expectations

For health, safety and consistency:

• One pair of stud earrings may be worn.
• Smart watches are not permitted.
• Makeup, nail varnish, false nails and temporary tattoos must not be worn.
• Long hair should be tied back using simple, plain hair accessories.
